Harare — As of February 12, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 11,016,848 while over 220,617,343 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 242,453 and 9,959,095 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of 3,631,642 and 96,502 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 1,151,081 ), Tunisia ( 950,575 ), Ethiopia ( 467,001 ), Libya ( 459,548 ), Egypt ( 444,117 ) and Kenya ( 322,274 ).
