Reported deaths in Africa reached 229,698 and 8,778,120 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 3,494,696 and 91,561 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 977,579 ), Tunisia ( 733,379 ), Ethiopia ( 436,586 ), Libya ( 391,633 ) Egypt ( 389,454 ) and Kenya ( 304,350 ).
