As of April 2, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 11,417,099 while over 270,321,505 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 251,942 and 9,589,050 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of 3,718,953 and 100,032 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 1,163,274 ) , Tunisia ( 1,035,884 ), Egypt ( 505,264 ), Libya ( 501,705 ), Ethiopia ( 469,758 ), and Kenya ( 323,423 ).
