CAPE TOWN – Lungelihle Zwane, better known by her stage name Uncle Waffles, will be releasing new music on Friday.
The DJ took to social media to share the news with her followers.
“1 year ago, I released my debut project, unlocking a part of me I never knew existed, vulnerability I never knew I could feel. A year later, I’m doing it again, welcome to the Asylum out Friday, 31st of March,” she said.
Uncle Waffles’ latest offering Asylum consists of seven tracks.
Her fans could not contain their excitement and are expecting her new project to be a masterpiece.
They also couldn’t get enough of the album art.
The 22-year-old released her first studio project, Red Dragon, on 30 March 2022.
The four-track EP featured Sino Msolo and BoiBizza.
The Tanzania hitmaker’s high-energy sets and unique style have not only earned her a loyal following but she has become one of the most popular DJs in the country.
