WATCH: Spectacular African appreciation with Afro Nation 2023
JOHANNESBURG – Afro Nation made a much-anticipated return for its third annual edition, this time taking place in Portugal.
The event, aimed at showcasing the cultural diversity the continent has to offer kicked off on 28 June and ended on Friday.
Packed with household names from Africa, the highly anticipated festival, which this year took inspiration from cultures in Portugal, boasted an impressive line-up, with some of our local's greats taking to the stage.
Some southern African artists that made appearances included the likes of Uncle Waffles, Pabbie Cooper, Tyler ICU, DJ Maphorisa, and DBN Gogo.
As one of the biggest festivals in Africa, Afro Nation has created a buzz as a celebration of the continent’s diversity, and the art of music.
