Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm but hot in the Lowveld. It will become cloudy in the extreme south and south-west with isolated evening showers and thundershowers

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy along the escarpment with fog patches at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature:Partly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy with morning fog along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north east. It will be fine in the south.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly becoming south to south-westerly in the afternoon.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy with fog patches along the coast and adjacent interior in the morning and evening, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot in places over the interior and West Coast District, becoming partly cloudy in the east with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-westerly, becoming fresh to strong in the afternoon, but south-easterly between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half –Fine and warm, but hot over the interior, becoming partly cloudy with afternoon thunderstorms expected over the interior.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly becoming light south easterly in the evening.

The Eastern half -Fine and warm, but partly cloudy and hot with isolated thunderstorms over the interior. It will become cloudy along the coast in the evening.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate north easterly

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over the interior otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the north east and south-western parts.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate south-easterly north of Durban, otherwise north-easterly.
