Breaking: IPID to investigate ‘police cover-up’ of Ramaphosa farm robbery

Here we go: Matters regarding the infamous ‘Ramaphosa farm robbery’ are developing at a ferocious pace. The regulatory body for the South African Police Service (IPID) confirmed that it would investigate some of its top cops, for allegedly helping to ‘cover-up’ details of this incident.

For those who may have been living on Mars throughout June, President Ramaphosa was plunged into a fresh crisis at the beginning of last month, when staunch Zuma-ally and former Correctional Services Director Arthur Fraser filed criminal charges against the ANC leader.

It was claimed that $4 million in cash was stashed away at Cyril’s Phala Phala farm in Limpopo. The president has accepted that the money was on his property, but when thieves stole the dosh during a daring heist in 2020, Ramaphosa never reported the crime to SAPS.

These eThekwini Municipality beaches are now open to the public

The eThekwini Municipality has announced that it will open some of its beaches on Friday, 1 July as it gears up for the Hollywoodbets Durban July this weekend.

All beaches in the eThekwini Municipality were closed to the public following the April torrential rains which caused damage as well as high E.coli levels.

Len Cloete unable to talk, right side of body paralyzed [WATCH]

Len Cloete, the father of seven, shot by police at a lodge in Muldersdrift in November last year, is still unable to talk. The incident also paralyzed the right side of his body.

In a video of the incident that has gone viral on social media, a naked Len is seen shouting at the police. He takes a firearm out of the bed drawer and cocks it while swinging it around in front of the police officers.

The Cape Town weather forecast is another wet and miserable one for the weekend ahead. More rain is set to last the south-west, following a month where heavy downpours and localised flooding characterised the unsettled winter conditions.

Intermittent showers will take place across the Cape Town Municipality, spreading out towards the Winelands District and parts of Overstrand. The grey clouds will linger for the next 72 hours or so, bringing a steady amount of rain to the region – but is this good news for the dam-watchers?

Watch: Farm MURDERERS sentenced after BRUTAL farm attack in 2017

The men who TORTURED an elderly couple with a blowtorch and knives during a farm attack in 2017 were sentenced to 37 years behind bars on Thursday.

The couple, Susan Howarth, 64, and Robert Lynn, 66, were attacked in 2017 on their farm in Dullstroom, Mpumalanga province.

Susan, originally from Southsea, Hampshire, died after the BRUTAL torture she endured during the attack.
