How do two girls go from being typical teenagers, kissing boys, dying their hair blue… to joining the Islamic State (IS) group? "Four Daughters", which premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, explores the true story of how a mother comes to terms with the decision by two of her children to flee to Libya and join the extremist organisation. Oscar-nominated Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania speaks to FRANCE 24 about the extraordinary film mechanism she set up to unveil the story of Olfa and her daughters.
