As of April 30, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 11,514,366 while over 291,782,481 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 252,861 and 9,670,319 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of 3,785,398 and 100,360 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 1,164,907 ) , Tunisia ( 1,040,193 ), Egypt ( 515,645 ), Libya ( 501,904 ), Ethiopia ( 470,550 ), and Kenya ( 323,760 ).
